A word of warning...
When the sealant begins to wear, the paving can begin to look patchy and some customers tell us the colour has come off,
This is not the case, the colour will not come out of the concrete, it is simply a sign that the paving is due to be resealed.
We have seen many drives and patios that have been colour sealed as the customers may have been told that this is what is required to bring the drive back to life... DON'T DO IT!
Once a drive or patio has been colour sealed there is no chemical available which can fully strip this off and bring it back to its original state. Colour sealant will come off as it is driven across as it is a stain and not the colour of the concrete its self.
Unfortunately, the only way to remedy a drive or patio that has been colour sealed is by digging it up and starting again...an expensive mistake!
Please don't add colour sealant to your imprinted concrete, it will ruin the overall look of your paving and will eventually flake off and look patchy.
